Isira is a luxury CMT garment manufacturer based in Kaunas, Lithuania. We work with premium fashion brands, independent designers, and creative studios worldwide — handling everything from patternmaking and sampling to full collection production, under one roof.
Isira was founded in 2013 by Alina Mikulienė, a pattern maker with over 20 years of industry experience. From the beginning, our focus has been on the garments most manufacturers won’t take on: complex silhouettes, delicate fabrics, intricate constructions, and designs that require genuine technical depth to execute correctly.
Today, Isira is a specialist CMT manufacturer with a team of experienced pattern makers, sample makers, and production sewers. Collections we have manufactured have been showcased at Paris Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and London Fashion Week.
We are based in Kaunas, Lithuania — in the heart of Europe, accessible by direct flight from London, Paris, Amsterdam, and other major fashion capitals.
CMT stands for Cut, Make, Trim. In a CMT arrangement:
This model keeps design and material decisions in your hands. The fabrics and accessories you choose are design decisions — they define the look, feel, and quality of your garment. In a CMT relationship, you retain full control over those decisions while accessing specialist manufacturing expertise you don’t need to build in-house.
Not all garment manufacturers are the same. Isira specialises in:
Complex constructions: Structured silhouettes, tailored pieces, bias-cut designs, garments with intricate internal architecture, and styles that require experienced pattern makers and sewers to execute correctly.
Delicate fabrics: Silk, organza, chiffon, technical synthetics, and other materials that require careful handling throughout cutting, sewing, and finishing. We calibrate our processes to each fabric type.
Small batch production: Our minimum order quantity is 50 pieces per model — significantly lower than most European manufacturers. This makes us suitable for emerging brands launching new collections, established brands testing new styles, and luxury labels for whom limited availability is part of the brand proposition.
Laser cutting: We offer precision laser cutting as both an integrated service and a standalone offering. Our laser cutting delivers burn-free edges, no fraying, and accuracy to within fractions of a millimetre across a wide range of fabric types.

Patternmaking & Grading We develop patterns from sketches, tech packs, technical drawings, or physical reference garments. We accept digital pattern files in .mdl, .dxf, .hpgl, and .plt formats, and can digitise paper patterns. Grading is handled in-house across any size range.
Sample Production We produce samples in your fabric, following your approved patterns. Sampling typically takes 2–4 weeks per round. We can work from a sketch — a finished tech pack is not required.
Collection Development End-to-end collection development under one roof. Patternmaking, grading, sampling, and full production managed as a single workflow, with a single point of contact.
Quality Management 100% quality inspection at every stage of production — not sampling-based. Final pre-shipment inspection against the approved sample standard before any order leaves our facility.
Laser Cutting Precision laser cutting for fashion fabrics. Available as a standalone service or as part of full production. Burn-free edges, no fraying, high accuracy. Suitable for synthetic and natural fabrics.
Isira works with:
Our clients come from across Europe, the UK, the United States, and beyond. We communicate in English and work across time zones.
Choosing a European manufacturer offers:
Proximity: Direct flights from most major European fashion cities to Kaunas take 2–4 hours. Factory visits, fittings, and quality checks are practical — not logistical projects.
Communication: Same or adjacent time zones mean real-time communication is possible. Issues are identified and resolved faster than in cross-continental manufacturing relationships.
Ethical compliance: We operate under EU labour law, which sets a legal floor for worker conditions, wages, and environmental standards. For brands positioning themselves as ethical or sustainable, European manufacturing is a defensible and verifiable claim.
Speed: Our total project timeline — from first contact to finished goods — is typically 3–5 months. For complex garments requiring multiple sampling rounds, European proximity significantly compresses the development calendar compared to Asian manufacturing.
