Digitisation and automation of Isira UAB operations towards the reduction of environmental pollution
Isira UAB is implementing a project to digitise and automate its business processes. As a part of the project, modern and innovative equipment will be purchased that will significantly reduce emissions from the company’s activities. It is expected to digitise the existing business model and make it more circular, thereby increasing product attractiveness and demand as well as productivity of the company, while reducing the environmental impact of the company. The purchased equipment will automatically calculate the optimum amount of fabric required and allow remote monitoring of production processes. The expected outcome of the project is the acquisition of equipment for digitisation and automation of the company’s operational procedures and reduction of emissions. The project is funded by UAB Isira’s own funds and the European Regional Development Fund as a measure of the European Union response to the COVID-19 pandemic under the 2014-2020 Priority Measure No. 13 of the Union Funds Investment Operational Program 13.1.1-LVPA-K-309 “Incentives to improve the infrastructure of cultural and creative industry companies”. The European Regional Development Fund granted the amount of EUR 106,572.00 for the implementation of the project. The budget of the project amounts to EUR 177,620.00. The title of the project “Development of new digital and circular economy services/products by UAB Isira through the investments into the infrastructure necessary for the development of cultural and creative industry products”. The project will cover the period from 05/08/2022 to 31/08/2023.
